Executive Committee

Organization Functinal Analysis

The Executive Committee is comprised of the Council Chair, the Vice-Chair, the Treasurer, two At-Large members appointed by the Chair, and two elected At-Large members. Duties of the Executive Committee are:
To serve in an overall advisory capacity to the Council;
To take any emergency action deemed necessary by a majority of the committee on behalf of the Council;
To monitor the work of Council staff, Council committees and task forces;
To recommend to the Council the hiring and termination of the executive director in accordance with Council policy and procedures;
To conduct, review and approve the annual performance evaluation of the executive director;
To review recommendations of the Leadership Development Committee related to Council membership, then forward that information to the full Council and the Governor;
To develop and guide the implementation of strategies for Council and staff self-evaluation on an annual basis and other activities deemed necessary by the Council Chair.
