1. Will the kick-off event need to be held in Tallahassee and funded with funds received from this contract?

The Kick-off event does not need to be held in Tallahassee and will be funded from funds received from the contract.

2. Do the advisory group members need to be at a local level or state level and what will their specific responsibilities be in “oversight of the project”?

Advisory committee members may be at the state or local level.

The role of the advisory committee members are to provide expertise that are pertinent to the project in order to ensure that relevant perspectives and approaches are considered; and, to gain the buy-in of the stakeholders in the ultimate success of the outcomes, by providing the advisory committee members the opportunity to offer input and begin building the necessary partnerships.

3. How many specific target populations will be the focus in the first year and how many communities?

This RFP seeks for the provider to propose the number of specific target populations and the number of communities.

4. Is this an initial meeting in each identified community? Do marketing/media/educational materials need to be developed for each target group?

There will be one (1) Kick-off event for the entire state. The need for subsequent meetings will be proposed and identified by the provider. For each targeted population identified by your proposal, marketing/ media / educational materials will need to be identified and gathered. We believe that a wealth of materials already exist and will need to be utilized for your initiative. New materials would only be developed if existing material does not exist.
