Family Care Council – July Meeting

The July meeting of the Family Care Council – Area 1 will be held on July
15th, at the ARC – Gateway Pollak Training facility from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The topic for this meeting will be Social Security Benefits, Work Incentives
and Assistance. The following speakers will be on hand to provide information
and answer questions:
Josh Sharpe: Assistant District Manager for SSI, SSI Benefits and
Eligibility.
Lisa Bloodworth: Manager, Southeastern Vocational Services, a
program of Lakeview Center, Inc.
The Family Care Councils work to advocate, educate and empower
individuals and their families. The councils partner with APD to ensure quality
services for people with developmental disabilities. The public is encouraged
to attend.
