iBudget Florida Meeting Schedule for January 2010

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities is holding five public meetings throughout the state in January. Their purpose is to provide an overview of the draft plan for individual budgets—a proposal that would empower APD customers to set their own priorities for spending the money allocated to them. The proposed program is called iBudget Florida.

These meetings are open to the public. Consumers, families, waiver support coordinators, providers, and advocates are welcome. Attendees will be able to comment on the draft plan, which must be provided to the Florida Legislature by February 1.
