FEMA's Office of Disability Integration and Coordination offers information on integrating and coordinating emergency preparedness, response, and recovery for children and adults with disabilities and others with access and functional needs before, during and after a disaster. The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Communications Commission have released tips for consumers to prepare them for major disasters when communications networks are not functioning.
